Jason Ellis was born and raised right here in Texas, at the age of 18 Jason joined the military and was assigned to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. He deployed to Iraq in 2008 with the sniper team and served 15-months overseas. After completing his military enlistment Jason Ellis returned to Iraq working with a private security company. Eventually Jason Ellis returned to Texas and Cofounded a Plumbing company that he helped grow to a million-dollar business in less than three years. He eventually sold the business and now is a partner and operations officer for the same company. He is no stranger to hard work and getting his hands dirty. Jason Ellis lives with his family in Northwest Fort Worth and is very active within Fort Worth and his community. Along with serving as a board member for a nonprofit that helps train First Responders, he also volunteers his time and has helped with many local campaigns.
“It’s time that Northwest Fort Worth has a voice, for years we have been the forgotten area of Ft Worth and have seen massive growth. There is no shortage of developers that would love to get their hands on the raw land that still exists. This is what makes Northwest Fort Worth very unique, we are one of the few areas within the city that still have undeveloped land and I believe we need to be just a little picky on what we allow to be built and catch up with our infrastructure needs.”
